Certified driving licence translation.
We translate driving licences issued in Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Russia and the other former Soviet republics into English, with a signed, dated Certificate of Accuracy. Both sides of the card are translated: categories, issue and expiry dates, restrictions and the issuing authority. A licence is a short document — about £25 or less, ready within 24 hours of payment.

What gets translated
The front and the back of the licence, including the category table with its dates, any restriction codes, the issuing authority and the licence number. Older paper and booklet licences are translated the same way, stamps and handwriting included.
What we cannot tell you
Whether you may drive in Great Britain on your licence, or exchange it for a British one, is decided by the DVLA’s rules, not by the translation. GOV.UK has a tool for each question, linked below. Whoever asked you for the translation — an insurer, a hire company, an employer, a court — will tell you what they need; we supply the certified translation.
How to order
Photograph the document on your phone — the whole page in frame, text readable, and the back if anything is written there — and send it to us on WhatsApp. There is nothing to install and no form to fill in.
We reply with the page count, a fixed price and a completion time. Nothing is payable until you accept the price in writing.
What “certified” means in the UK
England and Wales have no sworn translators. A certified translation is one that carries a written confirmation that it is a true and accurate translation of the original, with the date, a name, a signature and contact details, so that the body receiving it can check who stands behind it.
Ours comes as a Certificate of Accuracy on company letterhead. It names the translator who did the work and is signed and dated by the director of MENDEE LTD, an ITI Affiliate. Notarisation and apostille are separate steps carried out by a notary and by the FCDO; we translate and certify, we are not notaries.

About £25 or less. A licence is a short document, and short documents are not charged as full pages. You receive a fixed price in writing before any work begins.
How long does it take?
Within 24 hours of payment for Tajik, Uzbek and Russian licences.
Can I drive in the UK with a translated licence?
That depends on the DVLA’s rules for the country that issued your licence, not on the translation. Use the GOV.UK tool “Driving in Great Britain on a non-GB licence”, linked on this page.
Do you need the original document?
No. A clear photo of the whole page, and of the back if anything is written there, is enough for the translation. Whether the body you are applying to wants to see your original is for them to say.
Do you translate Kazakh, Kyrgyz or Ukrainian documents?
On request. Tajik, Uzbek and Russian are translated by our own staff. Kazakh, Kyrgyz and Ukrainian go to a vetted linguist engaged for the job: we tell you before quoting, the price and time are confirmed per job, and no document is passed on without your agreement.
