Central Asia Translations provides certified Russian to English translation from its London office, for clients across the UK. The work is done in-house by a named staff translator and issued with a signed, dated Certificate of Accuracy. We handle Russian-language documents from Russia and from any former Soviet republic, Soviet-era formats included, at about £25 a page and within 24 hours of payment.

Russian-language documents, wherever they were issued
Much of the paperwork from Central Asia is in Russian, or in Russian alongside the national language. That is where our Russian work comes from, and why a bilingual page is translated in full rather than in part.
Civil-registry certificates, passports and ID, diplomas and transcripts, police clearance, bank and employment documents, court documents; for law firms, witness statements, evidence and bundles.
Soviet-era documents
Booklet certificates, handwritten registry entries, stamps of institutions that no longer exist: all of it is translated, with the issuing body named as the document names it.

Photograph the document on your phone — the whole page in frame, text readable, and the back if anything is written there — and send it to us on WhatsApp. There is nothing to install and no form to fill in.
We reply with the page count, a fixed price and a completion time. Nothing is payable until you accept the price in writing.
What “certified” means in the UK
England and Wales have no sworn translators. A certified translation is one that carries a written confirmation that it is a true and accurate translation of the original, with the date, a name, a signature and contact details, so that the body receiving it can check who stands behind it.
Ours comes as a Certificate of Accuracy on company letterhead. It names the translator who did the work and is signed and dated by the director of MENDEE LTD, an ITI Affiliate. Notarisation and apostille are separate steps carried out by a notary and by the FCDO; we translate and certify, we are not notaries.

How much does a certified Russian translation cost in London?
About £25 per page as an indicative figure. You receive a fixed price in writing before any work begins, and nothing is payable until you accept it.
How quickly can you translate a Russian document?
Within 24 hours of payment for a full set of documents. If you need it sooner, tell us your deadline and we will say honestly whether it is achievable.
Do you translate from English into Russian?
Our certified work is into English. If you need English into Russian, message us and we will tell you honestly whether we can take it.
Will the Home Office accept the translation?
The Certificate of Accuracy carries what the Home Office guidance asks for: confirmation that the translation is accurate, the date, the translator’s full name, a signature and contact details. If a rejection is ever attributable to the quality of our translation, we re-issue it with a fresh certificate at no cost. We cannot advise on the application itself.
Do you need the original document?
No. A clear photo of the whole page, and of the back if anything is written there, is enough for the translation. Whether the body you are applying to wants to see your original is for them to say.
