Diploma and transcript together
A diploma on its own rarely says enough: the transcript — the supplement listing subjects, hours and grades — is what an admissions office or an employer reads. We translate both and keep the layout of the grade table so it can be compared with the original line by line.
Table pages are repetitive, and repetitive pages are not charged as full pages. You see the page count and the fixed price before any work starts.
Translation is not recognition
We translate what the document says: the name of the qualification, the institution, the subjects and the grades, as issued. Whether it is comparable to a UK qualification is decided by UK ENIC or by the university, not by the translator. We do not convert grades or award UK equivalents.
How to order
Photograph the document on your phone — the whole page in frame, text readable, and the back if anything is written there — and send it to us on WhatsApp. There is nothing to install and no form to fill in.
We reply with the page count, a fixed price and a completion time. Nothing is payable until you accept the price in writing.
What “certified” means in the UK
England and Wales have no sworn translators. A certified translation is one that carries a written confirmation that it is a true and accurate translation of the original, with the date, a name, a signature and contact details, so that the body receiving it can check who stands behind it.
Ours comes as a Certificate of Accuracy on company letterhead. It names the translator who did the work and is signed and dated by the director of MENDEE LTD, an ITI Affiliate. Notarisation and apostille are separate steps carried out by a notary and by the FCDO; we translate and certify, we are not notaries.
Questions
How much does it cost to translate a diploma?
About £25 per page as an indicative figure, with transcript tables priced below the full page rate because they are repetitive. You receive a fixed price in writing before any work begins.
Do you translate the transcript as well as the diploma?
Yes. The diploma and its transcript are translated together, in full, including the grade table, stamps, signatures and registration numbers.
Do you convert grades into UK degree classifications?
No. Grades are translated exactly as the document states them. Comparing a qualification with UK levels is the job of UK ENIC or the university you are applying to.
Do you need the original document?
No. A clear photo of the whole page, and of the back if anything is written there, is enough for the translation. Whether the body you are applying to wants to see your original is for them to say.
Do you translate Kazakh, Kyrgyz or Ukrainian documents?
On request. Tajik, Uzbek and Russian are translated by our own staff. Kazakh, Kyrgyz and Ukrainian go to a vetted linguist engaged for the job: we tell you before quoting, the price and time are confirmed per job, and no document is passed on without your agreement.
